Nurgaliev: suicide bomber who blew himself up in Ingushetia not identified yet
It is not obviously possible to identify the body of the militant-suicide bomber, who committed the terror act in Nazran, as the explosion was "of very high power", as stated today by Rashid Nurgaliev, Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia. In his opinion, it is too early to assert that the terror act was made by Said Buryatskiy.
"We can't identify it, since the explosion was of very strong activity; and we have no such serious materials, so as to say whether Said Buryatskiy was there or just triggered the bomb. Additional examination will tell us about it," Mr Nurgaliev said in his interview to the "Vesti" TV Channel.
On August 26, one of the websites of Chechen separatists placed a video record, in which Alexander Tikhomirov, 27, better known as Sheikh Said Buryatskiy, said about his readiness to commit a terror act. Later, the investigation said that admitted Buryatskiy's involvement in the act, but could not assert that the militants' leader had committed it personally.
