Five persons wounded in terror act in Nazran

The Nazran Republic's Hospital keeps five persons, wounded by the explosion at the post of the Road-Patrol Service (RPS) at the "Kavkaz" Federal Highway.

Specialists of the hospital said that the victims of the explosion are still arriving; the number of them is still updated. "At present, at least five servicemen have arrived," said the source. The five wounded persons include two militiamen and three occasional civilians who happened to be near the post at the explosion. The condition of one of the civilians, as doctors have emphasized, is very grave.

The explosion has damaged the building of the post and several dozens of private households located near the post. Its epicentre was behind the building of the post, where the tents of the soldiers of internal troops were set up. The soldiers were deployed there for strengthening the post, the "Interfax-South" writes.

The Ingush MIA has noted that according to their data the stationary RPS block-post was rammed by a "Gazel" minivan driven by a terrorist-suicide bomber. Now, the place of the incident is cordoned. Investigatory actions are underway.

"The driver of the exploded minivan killed himself," the "Echo Moskvy" Radio quotes the spokesman of the MIA of Ingushetia.
