Evkurov interrupts treatment and returns to Ingushetia
Today, President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov, who interrupted his rehabilitation course at a sanatorium near Moscow, has arrived in his republic. He made this decision because of aggravated situation in Ingushetia.
In the Magas Airport, the President told journalists that he plans to visit the Nazran GOVD, where a terror act had been committed, and study the situation. "I plan to go to the place of the explosion and look at the situation there, and then I go to Magas to hold a sitting to discuss urgent remaining issues," Mr Evkurov said.
"The situation isn't hopeless, it's just hard. The republic has suffered a blow; certainly, something needs to be corrected," he said.
"In my absence the leadership had worked; and now we'll see, where their actions should be corrected and who should be thanked," the "Interfax-South" quotes President Evkurov as saying.
Speaking about his health condition, Mr Evkurov has noted: "I had a two-month rest, and I've gained strength. My health is OK, without any slyness. The stick is just to look tougher. There's still some rehabilitation process - five days - and I'll spend them at home. The process that doctors had started should be finished," as reported by the ITAR-TASS.
