The wounded President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov can stay for years under artificial lung ventilation; everything will depend on the human and how he is looked after. This was stated by Alexander Sokolov, candidate of medical sciences, leading scientific worker of the Russian State Medical University and a member of the Human Rights Society "Memorial".

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the health condition of the wounded President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov remains grave; however, doctors promise improvement in 2-3 days. According to Moscow physicians, Evkurov has injuries of his skull, thorax and liver. President of Ingushetia remains unconscious since Monday and is under artificial pulmonary ventilation.

"His damages of skull, thorax and liver are indicative of Evkurov's real grave condition, since very important vital organs were injured. His stable condition is already good news. Let's hope for positive dynamics," said Dr Sokolov.

Kaloy Akhilgov, head of Evkurov's press service, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that today 20 professors will hold a consultation and appoint the most effective treatment to President of Ingushetia.
