Resident of Kabardino-Balkaria beaten to death by Moscow youngsters

In Moscow, Ahmed Maskov, a resident of Kabardino-Balkaria, was killed, and Arthur Borukaev, another resident of this republic, received heavy mutilations, when they were attacked by short-haired young men equipped with steel bars. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent learnt about it from well-informed sources.

The tragedy happened on May 1 in southeast of Moscow near Metro Station "Kozhukhovskaya". Maskov and Borukaev walked along an alley, when about a dozen youngsters with steel bars jumped out of bushes and began beating them.

The beating continued until Maskov and Borukaev lost consciousness; then, the attackers dispersed. Passers-by called an ambulance, which took the victims to hospital. Ahmed Maskov died on May 8 without regaining consciousness; Arthur Borukaev is still in resuscitation in a grave condition.

The perished Ahmed Maskov was a post-graduate trainee at the Scientific and Research Institute of Urology, his friend is a doctor at one of Moscow hospitals. They were both 26. A criminal case was opened on the fact of the attack.
