Kokoity: private houses to be rebuilt in South Ossetia

Today, President of the Republic Eduard Kokoity has stated that in the near future South Ossetia will start rebuilding private houses for the funds allocated by Russia.

"As of today, the required funds have been allotted, and the restoration plan of private houses in the territory of South Ossetia has been coordinated," said the President.

According to Mr Kokoity, "there are still about one hundred houses in several districts of South Ossetia, not included into this restoration plan, but after the necessary clarifications these private housing premises will be added to the plan."

On April 29, South Ossetia was visited by Sergey Stepashin, Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts of the Russian Federation. According to his story, Russia will not stop helping South Ossetia, even during the financial crisis, as the ITAR-TASS Agency reports.
