Involvement of Ingush OMON commander in Evloev's murder not confirmed

The information about participation of commander of the OMON (Special Militia) of Ingushetia in murdering Magomed Evloev, owner of the website "Ingushetia.Ru", is not confirmed. Magomed Tsoroev has alibi and is ready to swear on the Koran of his innocence.

Mr Tsoroev came to Maksharip Aushev, the present owner of the website, and explained that he had been away on holiday and return to the republic only on August 31 in the evening.

Magomed Tsoroev said that he is to bring oath to Magomed Evloev's father on sacred Koran in confirmation of his words.

Not only he did not participate in detention and murdering Magomed Evloev, but also, as he said, never gave such order to OMON employees. His household was guarded because he was outside the republic, and only women and children stayed at home, the website "Ingushetia.Ru" reports.

Earlier, the same source reported with reference to a security of Musa Medov, head of the Republic's MIA, that Magomed Evloev's murder was committed personally by Magomed Tsoroev, commander of the Ingush OMON.

According to this anonymous source, it was Tsoroev who detained Evloev and put him into a militia UAZ van. As he said, right after Evloev's murder Tsoroev's family was evacuated, and in his unfinished cottage OMON fighters were on duty with machine guns.

We remind you, the Ingush opposition is going to resume protest rallies in the context of Magomed Evloev's death, after the mourning term is over.

On September 3, Ahmed Kotiev, one of the leaders of Ingush opposition, told the "Interfax" by phone that he and other leaders of the Ingush opposition Magomed Khazbiev and Maksharip Aushev are afraid for their lives. "For some days already we spend nights away from home, we are afraid for our lives, and fear that they will do the same with us as with Evloev," he said.
