South Ossetia registers a flight of unidentified craft

Another non-sanctioned flight of an aircraft has been registered over the conflict territories of Georgia. On May 23, at 7:45 a.m., the observation point of the peace-making forces from the Republic of South Ossetia-Alania (RSO-A) "Yoncha" registered an AN-2 aircraft of unidentified state belonging.

The message of the United Headquarters of the Mixed Control Commission for Settling the Georgian-Ossetian Conflict, which can be found in the website of the State Committee for Information and Press of the Republic of South Ossetia, runs that the flight of the aircraft was conducted over South Ossetia outside the established air corridors, along the route from the east to the west at the altitude of 1000 meters.

"This fact is a rough violation of the provisions of the decision of the Mixed Control Commission for Settling the Georgian-Ossetian Conflict of July 30, 2002," runs the message.

So far, the identity of the aircraft has not been established.
