Verdict on Khudyakov and Arakcheev's case to be announced in Rostov-on-Don on December 25

At the process on the case Evgeniy Khudyakov and Sergey Arakcheev, accused of murdering three residents of Chechnya in 2003, which is held by the North-Caucasian Regional Military Court in Rostov-on-Don, the debate of the parties has ended. Then, judge Vladimir Tsybulnik, who is chairing the trial, has retired to the consultation room to prepare the verdict. The announcement thereof is planned on December 25.

The "Caucasian Knot" has already informed that defendant Evgeniy Khudyakov had refused to participate in the debate, and Sergey Arakcheev spoke to the court stating his innocence.

Liudmila Tikhomirova, who represents the victim party, has informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that "Sergey Arakcheev's speech was not convincing, it was a pathos presentation. Earlier his advocates' performances had also been more emotional than factual."

According to Liudmila Tikhomirova, arrival of only one representative of the victim party out of three - Ramzan Didaev, President of the "Southern Building Company" (former LLC "Kavkaz", where the casualties had worked) - is expected to the announcement of the verdict.

"Victim Shamil Yunusov has not recovered from the suffered stress yet, and he is afraid to go to Rostov," Liudmila Tikhomirova has added.
