Ingushetia.Ru: crimes are not registered in the Republic

Everywhere in Ingushetia, local militia bodies are obeying to the oral order of Musa Medov, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Ingushetia (RI), not to register crimes connected with bombardments, explosions and other acts of terror.

Thus, on September 22 an armed incident with a skirmish and a pursuit took place in the "Kavkaz" Federal Highway; however, the incident was not registered.

Last night all the residents of the city of Nazran were woken up by an explosion: it was a mine or a grenade launcher shot. This accident was also not mentioned in the reports of the RI's Ministry of Internal Affairs.

After militaries were shelled in the Nasyr-Kortsk District of Nazran on September 21, the militiamen would not register the crime assuring everybody that the servicemen had just shot down themselves in their car.

At the same time, according to the order of Murat Zyazikov, local mass media are prohibited from cooperating with federal news agencies and TV channels, and from transmitting any information on what happens, the web portal Ingushetia.Ru reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has already reported that the independent web portal Ingushetia.Ru had written earlier about concealment of crimes from accounting. Thus, the attack in Ekazhevo village, as well as the shelling of the GOVD (City Militia Department) building in the centre of Nazran at night of September 14, were also concealed from registration.
