Cases on Kondopoga disorders to arrive to court in February

Investigation of the case on the fight near the "Chaika" restaurant in Kondopoga is over, Piotr Klemeshev, deputy public prosecutor of Karelia has stated.

He has told that over 40 examinations were held during the investigation. Now, six defendants and relatives of two casualties will familiarize themselves with the criminal case files, and then it will go to the court.

Also, the cases on the facts of mass disorders in Kondopoga will be considered. Eleven city residents have already pled guilty and wait for the trial under recognizance not to leave.

Speaking about the investigation on the fact of "connivance to impudent hooliganism, murder and mass disorders" by the members of local militia, Mr. Klemeshev has declared that the Office of Public Prosecutor already possesses evidences of guilt of a number of militiamen, the "Gazeta.Ru" writes.

The cause of disorders in Kondopoga, Republic of Karelia, was a mass fight between local residents and natives from the Caucasus, in the course of which two persons died.
