Patrushev: Danish Council for Refugees is scouting in Chechnya

Nikolai Patrushev, Director of the FSB, has moved his claims to the operations of the Danish Council for Refugees (DCF) in the territory of Russia.

"Employees of this NGO, despite their declared aims, are systematically trying to collect tendentious information about public-political, economic and military situation in North Caucasus, the state of interethnic relations, demographic and migration processes, and possibilities of the onset of new armed conflicts on religious or nationalistic bases," Mr. Patrushev stated at his meeting with the heads of the leading Russian mass media.

The FSB Director has reported that "visits of supervisor from Denmark, keen in reconnaissance operations, have been repeatedly registered," the "Interfax" informs.

According to Patrushev, in 2006, the FSB has stopped the actions of 27 professionals and 89 agents of foreign special services. Over 300 acts of terror have been prevented during the year, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
