Kondopoga residents paid tribute to citizens murdered three months ago during disorders

Today, residents of Kondopoga have paid the tribute to the memory of the citizens who were killed three months ago - late in August this year, the RIA "Novostri" informs. Their death provoked mass ethnically-motivated disorders.

About 30 townspeople have rallied near the former "Chaika" restaurant, where the murders had been committed, and laid flowers to the tragedy venue.

Yesterday, leaflets were disseminated in Kondopoga on behalf of the "Public Committee of Townspeople" with an appeal to hold a meeting to discuss the outcomes of the actions of the local authorities undertaken during the past three months to stabilize the situation in the town. In this connection, additional militia forces were brought to the citizens' rally place.

However, neither administration servants nor members of the "Public Committee of Townspeople" have appeared before the participants of the action. An hour later, the latter peacefully retired home.
