Trial on explosion of Grozny-Moscow train is scandalous

A scandal has burst out at the Moscow Regional Court, where the case on explosion of the Grozny-Moscow train is considered. At about 11:00 a.m., the lady-judge pronounced her farewell word, and three hours later the jury retired for making their verdict. At about 5:00 p.m., the members of the jury completed their verdict and presented a written version to the judge. She went to her room to read the opinion of the jury, then, she came back and said that the jury's decision had serious mistakes and demanded to correct them. About an hour later, the jury delivered a corrected version to the judge, however she stated that the mistakes had remained uncorrected and offered to postpone the court session till tomorrow. However, the jury foreman declared that she would take self-disqualification for family reasons. Thus, all the outcomes of today's session are annulled. On December 1, the jury will elect the foreman, the judge will pronounce her farewell word, and then, the jury will retire to the jury conference, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.

The terror act on the route of train No. 382 Grozny-Moscow was committed on July 12, 2005. For passenger cars were blown off the track. None of 386 passengers was killed, and 42 persons applied for medical assistance.
