Attackers on the minister of culture of Kabardino-Balkaria got their penals

The Izmailovskiy District Court of Moscow has sentenced three defendants on the case of attacking Zaur Tutov, minister of culture of Kabardino-Balkaria, for conditional deprivation of freedom in a colony-settlement for the terms from twelve to eighteen months, the "Interfax" reports.

Stanislav Novohatskiy, Boris Kolodin and Eugeny Konyshev have been pled guilty under Article 112, Part 2, point "e," of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Deliberate causing damage to one's health on motives of national hatred").

The "Caucasian Knot" informed earlier that Zaur Tutov, minister of culture of Kabardino-Balkaria, People's Artist of Russia, was beaten on April 1 in Moscow. The attack took place near house 32 at Budyonny Avenue, at the "Sokolinaya Gora" House of Culture, where Mr. Tutov arrived to pick up his daughter who was training dances. A group of teenagers attached the minister. In his words, the culprits were shouting out nationalist slogans.
