In Kalmykia, they fear national-motivated disorders
In the context of inter-ethnic clashes in the village of Vorobyovka of the Priyutnenskiy District of Kalmykia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Republic has been transferred into the intense mode of service duty. Over a hundred militiamen were sent to the village, and the roads are blocked.
On October 31, a fight burst out at the discotheque in the village of Vorobyovka, as a result of which a visitant from Dagestan, aged 24, inflicted knife injuries to two 16-year-old boys, and one of them later died. The suspect was immediately detained and placed in custody, the "Interfax" informs.
Several hours after the meeting of residents, held in the village on Tuesday in relation to the incident, a number of young men armed with a hunting rifle, came to a cattle-breeding station, where the killer of the boys was staying, and wounded as a result of a quarrel a 49-year-old stock-breeder was wounded.
Earlier, the correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot" reported that on October 31 a delegation from Dagestan arrived in Elista (Kalmykia) to study the circumstances of investigating the murder of a local resident, of which a Dagestan resident is suspected.
