New York to host rally against recognition of Armenians' genocide
On April 25, the "Society of Young Turks" will hold a rally in New York under the motto "End of Armenian lie". The organizers have formulated its aim as informing the American public about disagreement with the fact of genocide against Armenians.
The rally will be held in the Times Square, and its participants will insist that Armenians' claims to regard the events of 1915 as genocide are groundless.
The action is held annually by the "Society of Young Turks" under the initiative of the "Federation of Turkish-American Societies". The forthcoming rally will be the fourth one, as the "Bakililar.Az" Agency reports.
The APA Agency adds that the action will be attended by the Azerbaijanis living in the USA.
Earlier, 53 public organizations of Azerbaijan and Turkey addressed US President Barack Obama asking him not to name the 1915 events as genocide in his annual traditional address to the US Armenian community on April 24.
