House of Institute of Economy and Law's Rector shelled in Ingushetia

In Nazran, unidentified persons shelled from their automatic fire-arms the private house belonging to Sulambek Khalukhaev, Rector of the Institute of Economy and Law.

Earlier, on September 10, unknown persons had shelled Mr Khalukhaev from sub-machine guns near the gate of his own house. As a result, the Rector received gunshot wounds and was hospitalized in a grave condition. Now, he remains in hospital.

A spokesman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia told the RBC Agency that nobody was injured in today's shelling, and the household was not damaged. The special plan of actions named "Volcano-5", intended to intercept the criminals, was introduced immediately after the incident, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

On September 11, unidentified criminals made an attempt on Ibragim, Sulambek Khalukhaev's son.
