Irakliy Okruashvili's advocate asks France to shelter her son

Eka Beseliya, Secretary General of the Party "For United Georgia" and advocate of Irakliy Okruashvili, Party leader, is going to address the French Embassy for providing political asylum to her son Rati Milorava who is 15.

"2.5 months ago, there was a showdown among teenagers in the yard of our house, where my son did not participate, but now the prosecutor's office has begun an investigation, and, according to my data, wants to accuse my son of hooliganism," Ms Beseliya told to journalists.

Eka Beseliya is convinced that this politically-motivated pressure on her aimed to force her to give up her political activities, the "Interfax" reports.

"Whatever threat to my beloved son could exist, I'm not going to give up my principles," Beseliya has stated.

She has added that her son was summoned to interrogation for next Monday, June 30, but she would first take him to the Embassy of France to have her application officially registered, and then accompany him to the prosecutor's office.
