It is reported that earlier Mr Khosroshakhi received threats from the Iranian security service - named ETTELAAT. The eyewitnesses assert that a couple of minutes before the activist's body was found, his office was visited by ETTELAAT officers. The forensic examination has shown that Khosroshakhi was severely beaten. The unknown persons also broke his skull.

The MNASA has voiced its condemn of the crime, accused the Iranian authorities and called on the government of this country to respect the legal rules and international law, and to protect the rights of its own citizens.
