Activist from Kazan placed to IVS in Karachay-Cherkessia

In Karachay-Cherkessia, the law enforcement bodies suspected activist Guzel Kasimova from Tatarstan of posting leaflets about an impending terror act.

Guzel Kasimova and another woman were detained on November 21. However, it was only on November 23, when the law enforcement bodies confirmed to women’s relatives that the suspects were being kept at an IVS (temporary detention facility), reports the “Razoblacheno” (Disclosed) Telegram channel, which positions itself as a “channel of independent journalists and bloggers.”

Guzel Kasimova is a supporter of the ideas about the revival of the USSR. The woman calls herself a people’s journalist, the “7x7-Horizontal Russia”* portal reports. Guzel Kasimova spoke out against the construction of a waste incineration plant in Kazan and warned people of possible attacks from the direction of Ukraine on Russian cities.
