Blogger Maria Borzova fined for discrediting Russian Army

A court in the city of Abinsk in the Krasnodar Territory has fined Maria Borzova, a streamer, by 40,000 roubles, concluding that the criticism of Russian militaries she expressed during a live broadcast on the Internet discredited the Russian Armed Forces.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that law enforcers had drawn up a protocol on discrediting the Russian Army against Maria Borzova for criticizing the participants of the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine on live air.

Let us remind you that Borzova had criticized the SMO fighters. Later, she posted a video message in her page in the "VKontakte" social network, in which she explained that she had criticized only those SMO fighters, who lead an immoral lifestyle: who were systematically drinking alcohol and committing offenses. Borzova stated that unknown individuals had cut out a section of her broadcast and spread it under the guise that she had allegedly criticized all SMO fighters.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that a court in Krasnodar had fined Ilya Kharchenko, a local resident, finding him guilty of discrediting the Russian Army and displaying prohibited symbols.
