Over 600 support petition to investigate Suleimanova's case

Within 1.5 days, the petition demanding to take control over the inquiry into the murder of Seda Suleimanova, a native of Chechnya, was signed by 630 people.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that this April, it became known that the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) was investigating Suleimanova's case under the article of murder. On April 26, in Chechnya, an investigator questioned Lena Patyaeva, a Seda's friend. On June 25, Patyaeva stated that the investigation was being deliberately sabotaged.

The petition placed by Lena on the "Change.org" website has been signed by more than 600 people.

According to Patyaeva, she often hears opinions about the pointlessness of the signing campaign, since many are sure that Seda was killed.

"I categorically don't accept this logic. Imagine that one of your friends was kidnapped, held in captivity for several weeks or months, and then killed ... Those responsible must be punished," Lena has written, emphasizing that she is not going to stop the campaign.
