Blogger from Tatarstan publicly apologizes for insulting Dagestani residents

A blogger from Tatarstan, who insulted residents of Dagestan, has recorded a video appeal, in which he has apologized to them.

"Brothers from Dagestan have talked to me and pointed out my mistakes; and I've fully admitted them. I wrongfully insulted Dagestani men, for which I repent. And I also spoke impartially about your women, so I ask, for the sake of Allah, forgiveness," the blogger stated in his video posted on the Instagram* public entitled "golos.dagestana".

The description of the video clip says that the blogger had planned to come to Dagestan to give lectures on intimate topics, but he was not allowed.

In his another video posted on the Instagram* public, the blogger himself stated that he had refused to hold lectures in Dagestan, since this is not accepted in the republic. "That's why you probably have 95 percent of divorces there. Well, go on living in your traditions," he said in the video.

The description of the YouTube channel of the blogger from Tatarstan, "Benefits in Islam", says that in his blog he teaches the Koran.

*On March 21, 2022, the Tverskoi Court of Moscow banned the activities in Russia of the Meta Company, owning the Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, in connection with extremist activities.
