"Ingush Independence Committee"* included into register of foreign agents
The Russian Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has added the "Ingush Independence Committee"* to the list of foreign agents, justifying this decision with the calls for violating the territorial integrity of Russia and creating Russia's negative image.
The MoJ has reported that the Committee* "made calls for action, the results of which could lead to a violation of the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation," and took part in the creation of "foreign agent's messages and materials" accessible to an unlimited number of people. Also, according to the MoJ, the Committee* spread "inaccurate information aimed at creating Russia's negative image and interacted with foreign structures.
The Committee* was created in January 2023; and on January 7, 2023, the first congress of the Committee* was held in Istanbul, the "Fortanga" outlet has reported.
*Included by the Russian Ministry of Justice (MoJ) into the register of foreign agents.
