Commentators link reduction in number of prayers for Palestine in Chechnya with fatigue

Collective Takhadjud namazes (prayers) for residents of Palestine will be held twice a week, the Chechen Spiritual Administration of Muslims (SAM) has announced. The reduction in the number of prayers may be caused by the fatigue of state employees and a decrease in the efficiency of their work due to daily prayers, readers of the "Caucasian Knot" have suggested.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 17, collective prayers for Palestinian Muslims were held in Chechen mosques. Ramzan Kadyrov has also called to pray for victory over Ukrainians. In Chechen schools, pupils took part in prayers for Palestine.

Earlier, the Chechen SAM posted a report on daily prayers in its Telegram channel.

The reader of the "Caucasian Knot" under the nickname renita has suggested that the reduction in the number of collective prayers in Palestinians' support is caused by people's fatigue. "Getting up at 4-4:30 at night in order to be in time for ... the prayer, and then returning home, going to work in the morning ... is not an easy task. Apparently, the management still realized that at this rate it would exhaust all the state servants; and the work results of those suffering from constant insufficient sleep is close to zero," the reader has written.

Authorities are trying to use Chechens' sympathies for Palestinians for their own purposes, the commentator on the "Caucasian Knot" under the nickname era noted earlier. "Undoubtedly, today Chechens' sympathies are on the side of Palestine; and authorities are trying to use this for their own purposes ... The fact that Ukraine has supported Israel's actions in Palestine allows the Chechen leadership ... to spread negativity towards Israelis and Ukrainians," the commentator has emphasized.

Earlier, a reader of the "Caucasian Knot" noted that collective prayers in mosques in support of Palestine were organized with the participation of state servants; and cases of pressure on them are known.
