Contract soldier convicted in Nalchik for service evasion

The Nalchik Military Court has sentenced Mukhadin Kunizhev, a local resident, to one year in jail, finding him guilty of leaving his military unit without command's permission. The "Yuga" newspaper has reported this in its Telegram channel, citing the press service of the court.

According to investigators, on November 22, 2022, Mukhadin Kunizhev, a contract serviceman of one of the units of the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD), during the period of mobilization, without any good reason, failed to appear for service at the military unit deployed in Stavropol. On December 19, he came to the investigating body.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that wrote that the Vladikavkaz Military Court had sentenced Muayed Kochesokov, a resident of Kabardino-Balkaria, to six years in prison, finding him guilty of leaving his military unit without command's permission.
