Tourist apologizes for her topless photo shoot in Dagestan

A young woman, who entered into a correspondence dispute with Muslims after her topless photo shoot in Dagestan, apologized for her rash words. She also announced her decision to convert to Islam.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that a video with a young woman without clothes against the backdrop of mountains was posted on the social media. Later, the user deleted her pictures after receiving dozens of angry comments from residents of the republic.

The “Mash Gor” Telegram channel posted a video message from the above social media user to the residents of Dagestan. In particular, the young woman claims that some residents of Dagestan themselves do not observe traditions.

A new video with the participation of the same young woman was posted in the “ChP Kavkaz” Telegram channel.

“Those words … were said by me thoughtlessly. I came to people so that they would explain to me what they meant. And for myself I made a decision to convert to Islam. I will study this religion, and I hope everything will work out,” the young woman says.

Earlier, residents of Dagestan have repeatedly complained about tourists for their behaviour and appearance. In 2021, two young women posted on the Internet their topless photos shot near the Sulak Canyon. The deputy head of the administration of the Untsukulsky District demanded to remove the posts, threatening to complain to the law enforcement bodies that the above posts insulted the feelings of believers. One of the young women objected that the Sulak Canyon was not marked as a sacred place.

Let us remind you that in 2018, “fighters for morality” attacked Dagestan. They achieved the cancellation of an anime festival and a number of concerts and film screenings.
