Defence plant worker from Volgograd Region challenges decision on his mobilization

In Volgograd, a military court began considering a lawsuit filed by a defence plant worker who claimed he had been diagnosed with a chronic illness and requested the court to cancel a decision on his mobilization.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that in September 2022, President Vladimir Putin announced the partial mobilization in the country. After that, residents of Southern Russia, including the Volgograd Region, have repeatedly complained about, in their opinion, illegal mobilization of men who suffered from serious health problems or had a determent.

The plaintiff did not undergo a medical examination at a military registration and enlistment office, and no military officials asked him about his health state. In the special military operation zone, his chronic illness worsened, and the man ended up in a hospital. At present, he stays in a military unit in the Volgograd Region, awaiting a court decision.

Let us remind you that Nikolai Dorofeev, a resident of the Volgograd Region, challenged the decision on his mobilization in court. The man pointed out that the draft board and the military registration and enlistment office did not take into account his statement about the consequences of his injury. However, in March, the court sided with the military registration and enlistment office.

In February, the Volgograd Garrison Military Court dismissed the claim of Dmitry Denisov, who had been mobilized despite being diagnosed with chronic diseases.

Earlier, Gleb Guzenko, a resident of Volgograd, requested court to invalidate the conclusion of the military medical commission and the decision on his mobilization. The military medical commission declared him fit for the military service with minor restrictions.
