Lawyers explain secrecy of trying case of plotting murder of Tumso's brother

Mukhammad, Tumso Abdurakhmanov's brother, continues taking part in the trial that considers the preparation of his assassination. The trial is being held in secrecy due to fears for the safety of the victim and state security, since a member of the German intelligence service is involved in the case.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 1, information appeared on the Internet about the murder of the well-known oppositional Chechen blogger, Tumso Abdurakhmanov, allegedly committed in Sweden. The press service of the government of Ichkeria reported on December 9 that he was alive.

On March 8, 2021, Tumso Abdurakhmanov announced the failed murder attempt of his brother Muhammad in Germany. According to Tumso, Tamerlan Aurbiev, a native of Chechnya, refused to kill Mukhammad and revealed the name of the intermediary.

The trial of the attempted murder of Mokhmad (Mukhammad) Abdurakhmanov continues in Munich. The newspaper "Sueddeutsche Zeitung" writes that visitors are forbidden to carry even ballpoint pens out of fear for the safety of the victim and the national security of Germany, because the defendant Valid D. was assisted by an employee of the Office for the Protection of the Constitution of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Land.

"The Russian Valid D. is accused of acquiring the murder weapon on behalf of Kadyrov's cousin and hiring the killer," the newspaper writes.

The trial is taking place in the context of the news about the disappearance of Tumso Abdurakhmanov. "At the same time, the agencies related to the security of Germany have reported that there was no attack and Tumso Abdurakhmanov is alive," the newspaper has added.

Ekkehard Maas, a human rights defender and the chairman of the "German-Caucasian Society", has stated "German law enforcement agencies no longer want to grant Chechens with asylum in the country" because of the involvement of some of them in crimes.
