Kadyrov offers to introduce martial law and use nuclear weapons

The head of Chechnya has criticized the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) for the situation in Krasny Liman and suggested declaring martial law in the border areas, as well as using nuclear weapons.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that this is not the first time that the head of Chechnya has criticized the decisions of the Russian MoD. Thus, on September 22, Ramzan Kadyrov expressed strong dissatisfaction with the exchange of prisoners of war (POWs), which was organized by the Russian MoD and the FSB. He stated that this exchange took place on Ukrainian conditions.

Kadyrov criticized these and previous MoD's decisions. "I've always said: there is nothing better than truth, even bitter one. This is the only way to move forward. Therefore, I can't remain silent about what happened in Krasny Liman," the head of Chechnya wrote on his Telegram channel, criticizing the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces and the commander, who, according to Kadyrov, was in charge of the Liman direction.

The head of Chechnya has also suggested using more radical measures in Ukraine. "In my personal opinion, it's necessary to take more drastic measures, up to declaration of the martial law in Russian border areas and the use of low-power nuclear weapons," Kadyrov has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that Kadyrov is regularly reporting about sending groups of volunteers to Ukraine. On September 30, he reported that another group of volunteers had left for Ukraine from the Grozny Airport. Among the goals of the military operation in Ukraine, he singled out the fight against "unnatural values."
