Humiliation of a young man leads to public apologies of Chechen residents in garbage cans

Two men, standing in garbage cans against the background of a wall with barbed wire, apologized for stuffing their acquaintance into a similar garbage can.

Today, a video with the apologies from residents of Chechnya has been posted by the “Readovka” Telegram channel. In the first part of the video, two men are forcing a third man in a garbage can. A man dressed in a T-shirt with the inscription “Akhmat” is screaming and resisting. “Let me go, I’m telling you. I’m telling you, let me go. Let me go,” the victim is shouting. However, the men are holding him and trying to completely lower him into the garbage cans. The video was filmed in the daytime, as follows from the video.

In the second part of the video, the same two men in the same clothes as in the first part of the video are standing in garbage cans against the background of a wall with barbed wire and are apologizing. The video was taken in the evening or at night. “We made a big mistake. We are two scoundrels. We were mocking a sick person by putting him in a garbage can. Please forgive us if you can,” said the Chechen resident as translated by the “Caucasian Knot” from the Chechen language.

According to an author of the “Chechnya Inside” blog on the “Caucasian Knot”, in the video, two men made fun of “a well-known young man in Grozny who probably had mental problems.” The ‘heroes’ were soon found, taken to one of the Grozny law enforcement bodes, and finally, a video was filmed, in which both of them, with their heads bowed, were standing in garbage cans on the territory of a law enforcement body,” the entry posted today reads.

According to the author of the blog, the guilty men were punished, as the young man, whom they were mocking, was wearing a T-shirt with the “Akhmat” symbol.
