Armenian MoD reports about death of a soldier
Soldier Erik Karsyan was found dead with a gunshot wound in a combat position, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Armenia reported.
On August 9, the soldier’s body was found at the firing position of a military unit in the northeast direction. The perished soldier was 19 years old.
The “Caucasian Knot” has also reported that on July 14, the body of 19-year-old Armenian conscript soldier Arsen Manukyan was found at a combat position with a gunshot wound. Investigators detained a soldier’s colleague and requested the prosecutor’s office to institute a case on incitement to suicide. On August 9, it became known that two contractors were injured because of non-compliance with the rules for handling weapons.
