Restrictions on flights to cities of Southern Russia extended by a week
The restriction regime on sending and receiving flights by the airports of Anapa, Gelendjik, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don and Elista has been extended until August 11, the "Rosaviatsiya" (Russian Federal Air Transport Agency) has informed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 24 this year, a special operation of Russian troops was launched in Ukraine, and after that, on March 2, the airports of Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Anapa, Gelendjik, Elista and Stavropol were suspended. Then, the ban on sending and receiving aircrafts by these airports has been repeatedly extended.
The restrictions on the operation of airports in the cities of the southern and central parts of Russia have been extended until August 11, the RIA "Novosti" has reported today with reference to the "Rosaviatsiya".
In Southern Russia, flights to the airports of Anapa, Gelendjik, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don and Elista are temporarily limited. In the central part of the country – the same was introduced for the airports of Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk and Simferopol, the report says.
