Week of July 18-24 passed without victims of armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

During the week from 18 to 24 July 2022, during the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus, no reports were received about any casualties or wounded persons. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

Court chronicle

On July 19, the Dagestani Supreme Court (SC) received a criminal case on the participation of a native of the Neftekumsky District of the Stavropol Territory and a native of the Nogai District of Dagestan in the attack on federal militaries committed in 1999 in the Botlikh District.

They are charged with the participation in an armed grouping and in an armed rebellion, as well as an attempt on militaries' lives. According to investigators, in August 1999, in the Botlikh district of Dagestan, the defendants, being members of the gang led by Shamil Basaev and Emir Khattab, took part in an armed attack on Russian militaries.
