"Important Stories"* describe hidden mobilization in Southern Russia

Authorities are making use of the state portal "Jobs in Russia" for search and recruit more than 22,000 militaries; more than 3600 such vacancies are in the regions of Southern and Northern Caucasus. The Rostov Region is the leader in the number of such vacancies, the "Important Stories"* outlet has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that information regularly appears about sending volunteers to Ukraine. Thus, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, often reports about the dispatch of volunteer detachments from Chechnya to participate in the special operation, including residents from other Russian regions.

The recently launched by the Federal Service for Labour and Employment "Jobs in Russia" state database contains vacancies for contract military service. A total of 2075 such vacancies – more than in any other Russian region – are available in the Rostov Region. In mid-June, authorities were searching for more than 22,200 militaries through the above state portal "Jobs in Russia", the "Important Stories"* outlet has reported today on its Telegram channel.

In total, in the regions of Southern and Northern Caucasus, they are searching to recruit over 3600 contract military servicemen. Authorities don't announce mobilization, but continue massively recruiting contract soldiers and immediately send them to Ukraine to compensate for the personnel losses, the outlet believes.

"Employment services are just an auxiliary channel for recruitment. Contract soldiers have always been recruited mainly from conscripts: during their service, they are regularly offered to sign a contract," the "Important Stories"* quotes Pavel Luzin, a military expert, as saying.

*The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has put the "IStories fonds" legal entity that publishes the "Important Stories" into the register of foreign media that act as a foreign agent.
