Relatives of Azeri veteran reproach authorities for neglecting his problems

Khayal Abbasov, a veteran of the Second Karabakh War, received three wounds in battles, but failed to document his disability category. His relatives assert that he lives in difficult conditions, and none of the authorities are interested in his problems.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that veterans of the Karabakh war living in Azerbaijan have repeatedly complained about poor social conditions and authorities' insufficient attention to their problems.

The problems of Khayal Abbasov, a veteran of the Second Karabakh War, who cannot receive a disability category, were reported by the "Meydan TV" with reference to his relatives.

Khayal Abbasov served in the special forces of the internal troops for seven years, and during the war, he took part in hostilities in Djebrail, Gadrut and in the Shusha direction.

He was three times seriously wounded in battles, but still cannot receive his disability category and lives in the care of his parents with two young children, his relatives have explained, adding that they had applied to the authorities of the Goranboy District and regional municipality asking to get a land plot, but no one listened to their requests.
