Authorities confirm data about 300 natives of Southern Russia perished in Ukraine

Since February 24, officials from regional authorities have reported about at least 217 natives of Northern Caucasus and 83 residents of the Southern Federal District (SFD) perished in Ukraine. Most of the dead were natives of Dagestan.

Since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, the authorities of the regions and districts have reported about at least 105 natives of Dagestan, 46 natives of North Ossetia, and 24 Stavropol residents, perished in Ukraine. The authorities also reported about 20 perished residents of Kabardino-Balkaria, nine residents of Chechnya, eight residents of Ingushetia, and four natives of Karachay-Cherkessia. Thus, since the beginning of the special military operation, the information about at least 217 natives of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) perished in Ukraine has been officially confirmed.

Since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, at least 83 people perished in the Southern Federal District (SFD), the regional authorities reported. So, the authorities of the Volgograd Region confirmed the information about 29 perished natives of the region, the Krasnodar Territory – 21, and the Astrakhan Region – 17. The authorities of Kalmykia and the Rostov Region officially confirmed the information about 11 and five compatriots, respectively, who perished during the special military operation. By 6:00 p.m. Moscow time on May 12, the authorities of Adygea have not reported about any compatriots perished in Ukraine.
