"Immortal Regiment" actions in Kuban end with detention of three activists

In the village of Bryukhovetskaya in the Krasnodar Territory (also known as Kuban by the name of the main river), law enforcers have detained Kirill Yolkin and Zakhar Gaevoy, the activists, who came to the "Immortal Regiment" action with Komsomol flags. A marcher with a pacifist slogan was detained in Sochi.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Kuban residents are regularly taking part in protests against the special operation in Ukraine, after which many of them are held accountable, including under the articles on discrediting the Russian Army.

In the above Bryukhovetskaya village, law enforcers detained the activists, Kirill Yolkin and Zakhar Gaevoy, who came on May 9, to the "Immortal Regiment" march, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* has reported. Law enforcers demanded from them to remove the Komsomol flags, with which the activists came to the action; then, they were detained and taken to the police station, where policemen took away their passports, the report says. Later, Yolkin and Gaevoy were released.

At the "Immortal Regiment" march in Sochi, law enforcers detained 34-year-old Nikita Botberg and brought him to the police station. Botberg came out with a portrait of his relative, who perished in 1942; a pacifist slogan was written over the photo, the report said.
