Putin awards Delimkhanov title of Hero of Russia

Vladimir Putin signed a decree awarding Chechen State Duma member Adam Delimkhanov the title of Hero of Russia.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on March 14, Ramzan Kadyrov announced that his adviser Adam Delimkhanov, a State Duma member from Chechnya, visited Ukraine. The leader of Chechnya posted a video showing Adam Delimkhanov discussing a map of the area with armed Chechen law enforcers. On March 16, Ramzan Kadyrov reported that Adam Delimkhanov had discussed with Chechen special forces fighters a plan to storm the “Azovstal” steel plant in the city of Mariupol.

The decree of the President of Russia “On conferring the title of Hero of the Russian Federation to A.S. Delimkhanov” is dated today and posted on the official website announcing the legal information.

“For courage and heroism shown during the special military operation in the territories of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Lugansk People’s Republic, and Ukraine, assign the title of Hero of the Russian Federation to Adam Sultanovich Delimkhanov,” the text of the Vladimir Putin’s decree reads.

Let us remind you that in February, amid a scandal with the family of retired federal judge Saidi Yangulbaev, a wide public outcry was caused by the Adam Delimkhanov’s threat to “cut off the heads” of members of the Yangulbaev family and those who would translate those words into Russian. Find details about the conflict between the Chechen authorities and the Yangulbaev family in the report “How the Yangulbaevs become Kadyrov’s Enemies”, prepared by the “Caucasian Knot”.
