Administration of Astrakhan Region reports militaries' deaths in Ukraine

On April 8, the contract servicemen, Muratbek Kilimov and Ramil Azhimov, were buried in the villages of the Volodarsky District. Since the start of the military operation in Ukraine, at least 13 residents of the Astrakhan Region have perished there.

Since 2018, Muratbek Kilimov, 40, served under contract and took part in the operation in Syria. The private Ramil Azhimov, 21, was drafted into the army after school; and after the end of his mandatory military service, he signed a contract. Kilimov and Azhimov were presented for state awards posthumously, the district administration group on the "VKontakte" social network reports.

Earlier, the district authorities reported the deaths of several more district natives: Rinat Ibrashev, 26; Damir Aitkaziev, 29; and Zamir Doschanov, 25.

The law on supporting the families of those militaries who perish in Ukraine, adopted in the Astrakhan Region, provides for the payment of one million roubles; other monetary payments and benefits are due to them from the federal budget, Sergey Ivaschenko, a lawyer, told the "Caucasian Knot".
