Amid war on Ukraine, video from aircraft with Kadyrov's voice appears on Internet

A video footage from the aircraft reporting on the imminent landing and a photo with Chechen law enforcers praying in the forest were posted on the Instagram, accompanied by Ramzan Kadyrov's voice. The video appeared on the eve of the announcement by Russian President Vladimir Putin about a special operation in Ukraine.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in December 2021, the head of Chechnya said that if he had been instructed, he would have long ago "attached Ukraine to Chechnya." In January 2022, Kadyrov repeated that if he had been the head of state, he "would have taken Ukraine long ago" by sending troops there.

On February 24, Vladimir Putin announced the start of a military operation in connection with the situation in Donbass. The head of Chechnya was unaware about the upcoming special operation in Ukraine, but he caught the trends from the Kremlin and made the above statements, political analysts believe.

According to unconfirmed reports, law enforcers from Chechnya are at war in Ukraine or in Donbass.

On February 3, the Conflict Intelligence Team (CIT) reported on the movement of columns of military equipment, which is in service with the Grozny OMON (riot police) and "Rosgvardia" (Russian National Guard), in the direction of Ukraine. Then military experts doubted the possibility of sending Chechen power units to the Ukrainian border.
