Osechkin reminds Delimkhanov about Chechens' torture in jails

Akhmed Dudaev, the Minister for National Policy, Foreign Relations, Press and Information of Chechnya, has treated the statement about the impending assassination attempt on Vladimir Osechkin as absurd. In his turn, Osechkin thanked the Chechens, who had informed him about the prepared attempt, and invited Adam Delimkhanov to personally discuss the claims against the work of human rights defenders.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 8, the Gulagu.net project reported, citing some sources, that members of the Chechen Diaspora in France had received an order from Moscow to assassinate Vladimir Osechkin, the project manager. The data on the preparation of Osechkin's murder is not linked with the published information about violence against the natives of Chechnya in colonies, the human rights defender himself has pointed out. The threat to his security should be taken seriously, members of the Chechen Diaspora believe.

Akhmed Dudaev, Minister for National Policy, Foreign Relations, Press and Information of Chechnya. On the Instagram, the above minister criticized Osechkin's version that "Chechens are allegedly preparing an assassination attempt on him."

On the Gulagu.net Telegram channel, Vladimir Osechkin posted a video appeal to Akhmed Dudaev, in which he stated that he had not even known about Dudaev's existence before; and he was also surprised that Dudaev treated his words as an attempt to cast a shadow on the entire Chechen nation.

Earlier, Dudaev failed to voice out the information about a number of facts of violence and torture against Chechen prisoners in colonies, the human rights defender has noted.
