Chechnya: search of the militants who disappeared after fighting militaries
Chechen authorities continue searching the militants who managed to disappear yesterday after armed collision with the servicemen of the Ministry of Defence.
"We go on screening large forests," a MoD's spokesman told the RIA "Novosti" Agency and added that the persons of the four liquidated militants had not been established yet. In his words, "the reason is in inaccessibility of the area where the armed clash took place."
The "Caucasian Knot" has already informed that yesterday, in the course of a skirmish in the Vedenskiy District of the Republic, militaries of the Chechen Ministry of Defence liquidated four militants. According to law enforcement bodies, some ten militants participated in the collision with the MoD's units. The rest of them managed to escape from the incident scene. The area of the collision is still blocked. The search of the escapees continues.
