Chechen native accused of beating Moscow law enforcers at a rally for Navalny

A detained native of Chechnya was accused of using violence against law enforcers at a protest action in support of Alexei Navalny. In the course of the interrogation, the young man pleaded guilty, a source from the law enforcement bodies reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, it became known that Said-Mukhammad Djumaev, a native of Chechnya, who used violence against law enforcers during the protest action in support of Alexei Navalny in Moscow, was detained in the Pskov Region and sent to the Russian capital.

After the protests in support of Alexei Navalny held on January 23, a video appeared on social networks. It shows the young Chechen man beating law enforcers with his hands and feet, with them fighting back with truncheons. Later, the young man managed to escape. Adam Delimkhanov, the adviser to Ramzan Kadyrov, suggested that his compatriot should renounce the opposition and promised him that the leader of Chechnya would help him solve problems with the law.
