Putin, Aliev, and Pashinyan agree to jointly develop Nagorno-Karabakh

During the negotiations in Moscow, the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia decided to create a working group to solve the problems of the economy and infrastructure of Nagorno-Karabakh. Ilham Aliev has said that the Karabakh conflict is in the past, while Nikol Pashinyan has called on for resolving the issue concerning the status of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, opposition supporters have blocked the road to the Yerevan airport in an attempt to prevent Nikol Pashinyan from flying to Moscow for negotiations. The police detained several activists.

The negotiating parties discussed the status of the Russian peacekeepers in the Karabakh conflict zone, the border demarcation process, and the humanitarian problems, the Kremlin's official website reports.

Ilham Aliev has declared that the Karabakh conflict is in the past and there is the need to think about the future.

In turn, the Armenian Prime Minister has stated that there are still many unresolved problems.

Before the meeting, dozens of opponents to Nikol Pashinyan's policy went to a rally in front of the Armenian Embassy in Moscow, the TASS reports.
