Yerevan political analysts exclude Pashinyan's resignation due to transfer of Lachin Corridor

The issue of the transfer of the Lachin Corridor to Azerbaijan is not related to the political future of the Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, and will not lead to street protests, the political analysts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" believe.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Lachin District is the last of the three districts to be occupied by Azerbaijan according to the truce agreement.

The "Caucasian Knot" has drafted a map to show the territories that will pass over to Azerbaijan after the autumn war. Also, the "Caucasian Knot" has published a deployment map of the Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The issue of the Lachin Corridor is not related to Pashinyan and his political future, Naira Airumyan, a political observer, believes.

"His mission is that Armenia must throw off any responsibility for the fate of Artsakh. This will not lead to Pashinyan's resignation," Ms Airumyan told the "Caucasian Knot".

The transfer of the Lachin Corridor to Azerbaijan will not affect Pashinyan's position in any way, since the transfer thereof, according to the trilateral agreement, is planned in three years, Armen Vardanyan, a political analyst, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. Nevertheless, according to his story, the transfer of the Lachin Corridor will create problems for the authorities, whoever is in power in three years.
