The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 8, in Tbilisi, about 10,000 people, according to organizers, took part in the action demanding to cancel the results of the parliamentary elections. During the rally held near the building of the Georgia's Central Election Commission (CEC), 10 protesters, 14 law enforcers and three journalists received traumas, the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has reported. 19 protesters were detained.

On November 9, about two hundred people gathered in front of the parliament building in Tbilisi, mostly young people. They announced that they would not observe the curfew introduced due to coronavirus in seven major cities of the country, under which it is forbidden to appear in streets from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

A few minutes before the curfew start, three activists were detained in the square, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports. The organizers of the protest have reported that the detainees tried to bring some firewood to the square in order to make fires.

  • Pre-planned nature is distinctive feature of attack on journalist Khoroshilov

The actions of the man who attacked Igor Khoroshilov, a Rostov journalist, were prepared in advance, which excludes any spontaneous conflict.
