Number of civilian casualties in Nagorno-Karabakh rises to 18

During the aggravation of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, 18 civilians were killed, including a child, and about 80 people were injured.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 4, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Armenia reported that the Azerbaijani troops were shelling with missiles the civilian targets in Stepanakert. Residents of the Nagorno-Karabakh capital had to take refuge in bomb shelters.

The Ombudsman of Nagorno-Karabakh released a report on casualties and injuries during the escalation of the Karabakh conflict. The death toll includes a minor girl, six women, and eight men, the "Sputnik-Armenia" reports.

According to the Ombudsman of Nagorno-Karabakh, the minor girl and two women were killed in a yard of a house, while the rest – in public places.
