Gathering in Urus-Martan records video condemning Akhmed Zakaev

At their gathering in Urus-Martan, members of the Zakaev family clan have criticized, in an insulting manner, Akhmed Zakaev, the head of government of the self-proclaimed Ichkeria (banned in Russia by the court) for supporting the 1ADAT Telegram Channel. Having declared their loyalty to the "padishah", the clan members demanded from emigrants not to interfere with Chechen affairs.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 10, Akhmed Zakaev the head of the government of the self-proclaimed Ichkeria, residing abroad, reported the arrest of his brothers, sisters and nephews, who were later released. He linked the arrest with his statements in support of the 1ADAT Telegram Channel.

The gathering of Zakaev's relatives in the city of Urus-Martan was reported by the "Grozny" ChGTRK (Chechen State TV and Radio Company) by posting a video on its Instagram public today, in which several people take turns speaking in Chechen.

Ali Zakaev, the Akhmed's elder brother, was the first to take the floor. He made it clear that the reason for the rally was in Akhmed's support of the 1ADAT Telegram Channel.

"The reason that we have gathered here is because people who are now in Europe are scolding our youth and those working in power bodies. What they do and what they say about the mothers and wives of those who work there is beyond all the boundaries of what is permitted. They have become nonhumans; and they nonhumans <...> Damn them!" the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has translated Ali Zakaev's words.

He assured that those who had gathered there were loyal to the "padishah", that is, to the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov.

Ali Zakaev also expressed direct threats to his brother and his followers. "Stop; if you don’t stop, we'll reach you. If we don't do it ourselves, our people will do it," Ali Zakaev has stated.
